Ms. Linda A. Pearce
Linda A. Pearce was appointed to the University of North Carolina Wilmington Board of Trustees by the UNC Board of Governors to a second term ending in 2013. She serves as chair of the Board, and chair of the Educational Planning and Programs
Committee, and Executive Committee. She also served as a member of the Chancellor's Search Committee.
A resident of Wilmington, N.C., Pearce is the CEO of Elderhaus/PACE. She received her bachelor's degree in English/Spanish from North Carolina College in Durham and her master's degree in adult education with a concentration in gerontology from the University of the District of Columbia.
She is a state visitor on the Duke University Minority Advisory Committee on Alzheimer's Disease, the eastern district representative to the N.C. Day Adult Day Care Association and member of the N.C Association on Aging Board of Directors.
