Mr. George M. Teague
George M. Teague was appointed to the University of North Carolina Wilmington Board of Trustees by the UNC Board of Governors to a second term that ends in 2013. He serves as a member of the Educational Planning and
Programs Committee, and the External Affairs Committee. He served as a member of the Chancellor’s Search Committee.
Teague, who was raised in Morganton, N.C., has had a private law practice in Raleigh since 1975. He is with the firm Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough. He was a Morehead Scholar and received a bachelor's degree from UNC Chapel Hill and a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he was an associate editor of the Law Review.
