The Seahawk Landing is an upperclassmen residence hall that features seven three-level apartment buildings with two, and four-bedroom units for a total capacity of 603 students. The residents of the Landing are on a lease-based housing contract with the Housing and Residence Life Office. Each building is arranged along a city street layout and amenities include a coffee shop, food market, workout facility, office space, student mailboxes, and a large swimming pool. Each apartment features a modern living room, modern kitchen with a full appliance package, cabinets, and counter space, a washer and dryer, private bedrooms, bathrooms (approximately one bathroom per two bedrooms) and individual bedroom internet, telephone and cable. Each apartment is fully furnished and the rates include electricity, sewer, water, high-speed Ethernet, local and long-distance telephone and cable television. Parking is available for all Seahawk Landing residents in the parking spaces that surround all seven of the Landing apartment buildings. Other amenities include security cameras in the front entrance, perimiters, and stairwells of each building.
The Seahawk Landing has been a wonderful place to live. The staff have been friendly and built community within area. This is hard to come by when living in an upper class men area.
