• Assists in planning within the academic affairs division
• Serves as the university retention officer
• Oversees the operations of the:
      Office of Admissions
      Scholarships and Financial Aid
      Registrar’s Office
      University College    
• Maintains a dotted line relationship with student affairs in overseeing the orientation program
• Facilitates the development of a comprehensive first year experience
• Represents the Provost in designated committees, meetings and events
