Department of History
| Dr. Candice D. Bredbenner will begin her appointment as Associate Professor of History. She received her Ph.D. in History from the University of Virginia in 1990, and taught courses in U.S., women’s, constitutional and social history at Arizona State University for several years. Dr. Bredbenner is the author of A Nationality of Her Own: Women, Citizenship, and the Politics of Marriage (California, 1998), a Choice Outstanding Academic Book. Most recently Dr. Bredbenner served as Associate Dean for Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences at ASU. |
