Jon supervises the Campus Activities & Involvement Center professional staff in their support roles for the SGA and student organizations. He also is responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating the Events Calendar Assistant and the Posting Assistant. In addition, he advises the Student Government Association, coordinates and implements the UNCWelcome Program, and oversees the UNCWeekends initiative with a student group along with other staff in the division. Jon presents various workshops for the Organizational Leadership certificate and he serves on the campus as a UNCW Safe Zone trained Ally.

Nicole oversees 260+ registered student organizations and the management of the Involvement Center and supervises the Involvement Specialists within the Involvement Center. She coordinates the annual campus wide events such as Involvement Carnivals/Fairs, Welcome Back, Student Organization Leadership Awards, re-registration seminars, annual registration process for all student organizations, and Student Organization Appreciation Day. Nicole also serves as the primary advisor to the SGA Treasurer and the Appropriations Committee in their allocation processes.

The CAIC Graduate Assistant will advise and manage the UNCWeekends planning group inclusive of event planning, implementation and management, coordinate social media on behalf of CAIC and provide oversight for the CAIC website. This position will also provide support for CAIC’s major campus events alongside the CAIC full time staff.

The CAIC Graduate Assistant will lend support and advising to multicultural student organizations by helping them implement programs and coordinate educational and social events. This position will also provide support for CAIC’s major campus events alongside the CAIC full time staff.

Responsible for coordinating a comprehensive leadership program that creates intentional opportunities for all students to identify and enhance their leadership potential; expanding engagement and community service and volunteer experiences which promote civic engagement and citizenship; designing and delivering materials, programs and seminars on principles and practices of leadership and service. This person will also establish leadership certification levels for students in the professional schools and signature programs in the College of Arts & Sciences. The person in this position also facilitates annual awards and recognition programs, in addition to providing support and input on student ethical development, Taking Flight program, and the annual Seahawk Leadership Conference.

Responsible for development and oversight of the Office’s leadership education program, supporting community service programming, and providing supervision for OSLE staff fellows & GA and daily consultation to individual students, student leaders and representatives of student organizations seeking leadership and community service opportunities. The Assistant Director designs and offers direct instruction on relevant subject matter through collaborative partnerships with faculty, staff and other university constituencies in maintaining a dynamic leadership program which supports the university’s mission.

Hilary serves as the primary liaison between the university and our Greek letter social organizations, including Panhellenic Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council and Interfraternity Council. She advises fraternity and sorority leaders in programming, budgeting, academic success strategies, membership recruitment and interpretation of policies and provides workshops, retreats, programs and seminars on relevant topics for the organizations. She is also responsible for coordinating the Greek Housing Program in collaboration with Housing and Residence Life.

The FSL Graduate Assistant assists the Coordinator with larger programs such as National Hazing Prevention Week and the Fraternity and Sorority Life Leadership Certificate. They co-advise Panhellenic, NPHC, and serves as the advisor to Order of Omega. The FSL GA also works to maintain all social media accounts, as well as the FSL newsletter.

The Office Assistants assists in typing office correspondence and forms, checks mailbox and distribute mail to office staff and Involvement Center, sends faxes and distribute received faxes to office staff, inventory supplies and keep a bi-weekly updated list of supplies to be ordered, keeps the color printer paper and forms stocked, assist the CAIC professional staff in program file management and other special projects creates and updates display cases in the Fisher Student Center, second floor, runs any needed errands for the office, installs CAIC Event Calendars in the Fisher restrooms, and organizes storage room and check for supplies needed.

The Events Calendar Assistant is responsible for creating and editing the weekly CAIC events calendar that gets posted throughout UNCW.

The Posting Assistant ensures thorough and timely distribution of CAIC publicity. The Posting Assistant monitors and maintains campus-wide CAIC bulletin boards located in most academic and administrative buildings.

Sarah Mayer

Sarah Mayer, CAIC Manager

Sarah is a Senior majoring in Rec, Sports Leadership and Tourism Management, and is the VicePresident of the Recreation Majors Associaton. She worked with Housing and Residence life staff as a Residence Assistant, and is a My Stand Mentor. Sarah is also a member of the National Residence Hall Honorary Psi Phi Chapter.

Camille is a Senior majoring in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Her goal is to work in a juvenille rehab center and potentially become a lawyer or criminal investigator. During her time at UNCW she has been a part of the Women's Club Basketball team, UNCW Sports Club Council Vice President, and worked as the UNCW Women's Basketball Manager.

Elizabeth Lovett

Lizzie is a Junior majoring in Film and Theater. Her goal is to become a costume deisnger and/or production designer in film. During her time at UNCW she has participated in the Flicker Film Society, Real Teal Film Fesitval committee and has worked in both the costume shop and backstage with the Theatre Department.

Nathan is a Sophomore majoring in Psychology/Neuroscience. His current gols includs going to medical school to become some kind of surgeon or a pediatrician. During his time at UNCW he has created the UNCWilderness organization and has also been a part of the Global Medical Brigade organization.

Lauren is a Junior majoring in Psychology. Her goal is to go in to industrial psychology or child psychology. During her time at UNCW she has been a part of the UNCW Women's Soccer team and the Student Athletic Advisory Committee.

Noah is a Sophomore majoring in Film and Digital Arts. His goal is to become a film maker. During his time at UNCW he has participated in the Flicker Film Society, Residence Hall Area Chapter, and is also a part of the Event Staff.
