Seahawk Territory Alumni Recruitment Team
(START) - START Goals
The Seahawk Territory Alumni Recruitment Team (START), is a partnership between the UNCW Office of Admissions and the UNCW Alumni Association. START members are alumni interested in assisting the Office of Admissions with recruitment efforts in their surrounding areas.
This program trains alumni volunteers
who will inform prospective students, their families, and guidance
counselors about UNCW through selective recruitment activities. START
members will represent UNCW in a positive, professional, and organized
way.
The goals of the START program are:

To provide alumni an opportunity to stay involved and connected with their alma mater.

To offer alumni an avenue to stay informed with new UNCW growth and accomplishments.

To provide a regional information source for prospective students, applicants, admitted and enrolled students, and their families.

To increase the number of competitive, diverse, and talented students applying to UNCW at the undergraduate level.
