ACT Test

ACT National & Residual Tests

 

 

ACT National:

The National ACT is administered nationally and is designed for use by institutions of higher education in making admissions decisions. The National ACT measures knowledge taught at the high school level in English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science Reasoning.

Test Format: Paper & Pencil Only

$44.50 per exam (includes the required writing section)
*The writing portion is required for use by UNCW

Testing Dates: The National ACT will be administered in the University Testing Services office the following dates:

February 9th

April 12th

ACT Residual:

The residual ACT measures knowledge taught at the high school level in English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science Reasoning. The on-campus, or residual ACT, is designed for use by universities as a service to prospective students who are unable to test on the national ACT test dates.

Test Format: Paper & Pencil Only

Registration: contact UNCW Testing Services

Testing Dates: February 22, 2008 and May 28, 2008

Repeating Tests:

A minimum wait of 60 days is required before retesting. If the 60-day wait period is violated, the retest scores will be cancelled automatically and no refund will be made.
