Over the Age of 24
If you are over the age of 24, you must meet the following requirements for admission:

You must provide proof of high school graduation or Adult High School transcript or GED

You must be eligible to return to the last institution you attended

You must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) on all transferable work attempted at all institutions you attended

You must have at least 24 semester hours of transferable credit
-
6 or more semester hours of freshman level English
-
3 or more semester hours of college level Math
For all students :
UNCW can waive some of the minimum high school course requirements for transfer applicants who:

have received the Associate of Arts (AA), the Associate of Science (AS) , the Associate of Fine Arts (AFA), the Baccalaureate (B.S. / B.A.) or higher level degree; or
-
have successfully completed all of the core courses needed to satisfy the requirements of the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement between the University of North Carolina and the North Carolina Community College System.
