Admitted for Fall? What's Next?

The "Enrollment Deposit" form included with your acceptance letter has your UNCW ID number and UNCW Email Address- all information that is used to login to your mySeaPort account.

Admitted students can pay their enrollment deposit, schedule Orientation and complete Housing and Residence Life steps by logging into their mySeaPort account. Students can also access their UNCW e-mail, calendar and read about campus news and events.

If you have trouble logging in or using the tools in mySeaPort, contact the Technology Assistance Center (TAC) at http://www.uncw.edu/tac.

Defer Your Enrollment

Each year, some admitted first-year students may want to defer their enrollment to UNCW for personal or family medical issues, to travel abroad, complete military service, an internship, or perhaps work to contribute to the cost of attending college. Whatever the reason might be, the process to request an academic deferral can be found here.

Students admitted for the fall term can:

  • request to defer enrollment for one full year to next fall
  • request to defer enrollment for one term to spring

Students admitted for the spring term as a First Year Spring Admit (FYSA) can:

  • request to defer enrollment for one full year to the next spring

Withdraw Your Application

Please complete the online form if you are not planning to attend UNCW during the term for which you applied.
Completion of this form withdraws your application from the university, rescinding any offer of admission as well.
