Scholarships - Overview
As an incoming student, your admission's application will be used to evaluate your eligibility for ALL university merit-based scholarships. You DO NOT need to complete a separate application for this process. Students who are selected to receive a merit-based scholarship will be notified in the months of January, February, and March. If you have not received notification of a merit-based scholarship by March 31, 2014, it will be safe to assume that you were not selected. If a letter for a merit-based scholarship is sent to you, please pay particular attention to the date(s) to accept your award(s), as some are time sensitive.
For those students who have paid their enrollment deposit and wish to be considered for other university donor scholarships, this scholarship application will be made available on Saturday, February 1, 2014 and remain open for applications until Tuesday, April 1, 2014. This application is located in the SEANET student portal and is ONLY OPEN to continuing students and those incoming students who have paid their enrollment deposit and have access to the student portal.
Finally, for those students who are applying for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), our priority deadline is March 1, 2014 and students will be notified of their financial aid award, which will include federal, state and institutional financial aid, by March 31, 2014, unless you are selected for a process called verification, at which time your award will be finalized following your file completion and review.
Should you have any questions regarding this process, please do not hesitate to contact the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid at (910) 962-3177 or via email at email@example.com.
