Minimum requirements to be considered for admission as a transfer student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington:
- Be eligible to return to the last institution attended.
- Have attained a 2.50 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) on all transferable work at all institutions attended.
- Have completed at least 24 semester hours of transferable credit.
- Have completed six (6) semester hours of college-level English.
- Have completed three (3) semester hours of college-level Mathematics.

Transfer Credit Limts
Two-year institutions - Up to a maximum of 64 semester hours of credit may be awarded to students who have pursued their education at a two-year institution.
Four-year institutions - Up to a maximum of 93 semester hours of credit may be awarded to students who have pursued their education at a four-year institution.
