Campus Tours
There is more to UNCW than classrooms, books and buildings. You need to meet the faculty and staff, talk to the students and experience how special our campus is!
Daily Tour Program - register at SeaLevel
We welcome you to visit UNCW for a group information session and tour.
Beginning in January 2010, tours will be offered at 10am & 2pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and 11am and 2pm on Tuesday and Thursday. (Tours are not offered on holidays and when classes are not in session. Holiday Schedule)
When you arrive on campus follow the visitor parking and information signs to the gated lot adjacent to Alderman Hall (LOT F). The parking lot attendant will direct you to James Hall (campus map). Please make sure you wear comfortable shoes, as this is a walking tour!
Your visit will begin with an information session led by an admission counselor, which covers basic UNCW information and the admission process. A walking tour, led by an enthusiastic UNCW student, follows the presentation. This tour will cover all academic and student life aspects of the campus. Since all tours follow the same predetermined route, you are encouraged to make appointments for after your tour with any academic department(s) of interest.
NOTE: UNCW policy prohibits tour groups from going inside the residence halls. View photos, video, and floorplans of the various residence halls here. For off-campus options, please click here.
To register for a tour you must have a SeaLevel account.
Registration for campus tours is requested at least 3 days in advance.
If you are unable to visit campus during our regular business hours you may print the following documents (pdf) and tour the campus on your own:
-driving tour directions
-residence hall area driving tour(note: you are not permited to enter any residence facility)
-campus map
