The UNCW Alumni Association Board of Directors seeks nominations to fill vacant positions on the Board of Directors. As part of our efforts to recruit and retain dedicated alumni volunteers, we are actively seeking recommendations. Do you know former students who were active and engaged while at UNCW? Is that you?  Are you interested in reconnecting with your alma mater through volunteer service on the Alumni Board?

We have been extremely busy and activecreating strategic goals for the Alumni Association. These goals, broadly defined are:

1. Increase alumni participation with the university & the alumni association

2. Increase alumni giving rates to above peer institution levels

3. Recruit and retain alumni association volunteers to serve on the UNCWAA board and to assist the alumni association in its programs.

The UNCW Alumni Association Board of Directors is the leadership body of UNCW’s alumni who total over 47,000.

Potential board members should be “active” alumni who make annual contributions to UNCW, are willing to attend alumni events and meetings and support a variety of special projects to benefit alumni and students at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
