What is the Alumni Association?
The UNCW Alumni Association provides free membership to all students who have completed a course or graduated from UNCW. Membership includes benefits for alumni who are close to campus and around the nation.
Our Mission
The mission of the UNCW Alumni Association is to be the lead supporter in the university's strategic vision. It is our purpose to connect and involve alumni, students, and friends in the promotion and advancement of the university. The UNCW Alumni Association promotes, encourages and supports unity and involvement among our alumni, students, the university and friends.

Career Services
Alumni have access to the UNCW Career Center for employment needs and opportunities. Take a look at Alumni Benefits for more information. -
Alumni Lifetime Email
The Alumni office has begun a beta program for Alumni Lifetime Email accounts in 2008. All graduates of 2008 to the present have access to alumni email addresses provided by Microsoft's Live@edu. The email address uses the same prefix as your student email and only the domain is changed, for example- abc1234@alum.uncw.edu. Once you register for an alumni email account, it is yours for life and accessible at www.outlook.com. If you have not already registered for your account or are having trouble logging in, get more information. -
Networking opportunities
Alumni are invited to more than 60 events throughout the year. Beginning with the Commencement Celebration during the weekend of your graduation and continuing with chapter events and reunions. The dinners, mixers and pre-game socials offer great opportunities to network and get to know other Seahawk alumni.
How does UNCW stay in touch with me?
Update your information. The alumni office reaches out to our 56,000 alumni most often by email. Occasionally, we will also mail postcards and invitations about events taking place such as Homecoming or Chapter events. If you have recently moved, changed jobs, or email addresses, please update your contact information so we can still reach you.
