Blaise Bolan (BSN '97, MSN '10) was honored as the School of Nursing 2017 alumna of the year at the Nurses' Day Celebration hosted by the UNCW School of Nursing and The North Carolina Nurses' Association in May 2017.

ince graduating from the prelicensure program in ’97, Bolan has worked on critical care units and on the Progressive Care Unit at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Her contributions in this area helped NHRMC in ’15 earn the Certificate of Distinction for Primary Stroke Centers from the Joint Commission. Bolan has served as a clinical instructor for Cape Fear Community College since ’01 and has served as one of our second semester clinical instructors since ’10.
