BOARD MEMBER SPOTLIGHTAaron Oliver
The Seahawk Spotlight shines on Aaron Oliver ‘81. Aaron graduated from UNCW with a degree in speech communications – what we know now as communication studies. He is the video coordinator for New Hanover County Schools where he works with budding TV technicians of tomorrow. Aaron gives his students valuable hands-on experiences that will serve them well with their career choices and also gives them a leg up on internships because of their experience behind the camera. Aaron has worked in commercial and cable television for 18 years. He and his wife Janet have a daughter, Amy, who is a 2002 UNCW graduate. The UNCW Alumni Association thanks Aaron for his volunteerism and for his many years of creating video memories of alumni award recipients for the annual awards banquet held homecoming weekend. Join Aaron as he leads the Communication Studies Alumni Chapter, and they continue to do great things for the university and UNCW alumni.
