The African American Graduates
Association (AAGA) will host an alumni social
at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23 at Carrabbas Italian Grill, 3200
High Point Road, Greensboro. Learn about AAGA's exciting initiatives
including scholarship endowments, activities to support minority
students at UNCW, socials and other activities. For details,

The AAGA
board will meet at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct.
18 at the home of Karen Cheek in Sanford. All board members
are urged to attend as plans for Homecoming 2004 will be the
main agenda item.
The Triangle
Alumni Chapter and the Charlotte
Alumni Chapter are co-sponsoring the second
annual Carolina Panthers NFL Adventure, Sunday, Oct. 19. The
Carolina Panthers play the Tennessee Titans at 1 p.m.
in Ericsson Stadium. The train ride is sold out,
but you can still join us for the tailgate party at 11 a.m.
on Church Street, between Second and Third streets, in the
parking lot across from the French Quarter Restaurant. Food
and refreshments will be provided by the Charlotte
Alumni Chapter. The cost is $7. For more information,

The Cameron
School of Business Alumni Chapter will
meet at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, in Cameron Hall, Room 104.

Chair's Council will share their insights
related to Chancellor Rosemary DePaolo’s benchmark study
and to strategize ways to improve overall alumni giving at
their next quarterly meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28 at
Wise Alumni House. Pat Smith ‘72, executive director,
will share her insights on the alumni findings related to
the study. Other items for discussion will be Homecoming 2004,
the 2003 VW Seahawk Beetle raffle and the dedication of the
Wilmington College Historical Marker. Dinner will be served.

Alumni Chapter will host a reception for Chancellor
Rosemary DePaolo on Monday, Nov. 17. Plans are still being
made for this evening event, but alumni interested in attending
are asked to contact the alumni office by phone or to asherk@uncw.edu.
Members of the Wilmington
College Alumni Chapter will gather
at 13th and Market Streets at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17
for the unveiling of the historical marker commemorating Wilmington
College's original location. Lunch will follow at Wise Alumni
House.
