Members of the Wilmington
College Alumni Chapter will gather
at 13th and Market Streets at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17
for the unveiling of the historical marker commemorating Wilmington
College's original location.
The Young
Alumni Council is taking nominations
for its annual Young Alumnus of the Year award to be presented
during Homecoming 2004. The award recognizes a man or woman
who graduated from UNCW in the last 10 years for outstanding
service to the university and ocmmunity. Nominations can be
made by contacting Tom Lamont, assistant director of alumni
(see contact information below).
The School of Nursing
Alumni Chapter is looking for nursing alumni to serve
on its chapter board. Nursing graduates, we need you! Please
call Tom Lamont, assistant director of alumni relations (see
contact information below).
The Past Chair's
Council will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 6.
As part of Homecoming 2004,
AAGA will host a student-alumni social from 4 to 7
p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, in the University Union, Room 100. That
will be followed by the AAGA Step Show at 8 p.m. in Kenan
Auditorium. The AAGA Old School Jam will be next - from 10
p.m. to 1 a.m. in the University Union, Room 100. At 9 a.m.
Saturday, Jan. 24, AAGA will have a board meetingin Warwick
Center, Room 138, followed by lunch at noon in the Center
Stage Cafe. Chancellor Rosemary DePaolo will be the guest
speaker. AAGA members will host a half-time social in Trask
Coliseum, Room 142. After the game, they will gather at Alleigh's
for the victory celebration
The Cameron School
of Business Alumni Chapter is helping with the Cameron
School’s 25th anniversary “Celebrating Excellence”
March 24-27. The chapter needs the help of all business alumni
