ALUMNI GIVING CONTINUES TO RISE
Between Feb. 29 and March 31, 128 additional alumni contributed $24,680.75, bringing the total number of alumni making contributions to UNCW to 2,398 and the total dollar amount to $377,858.25. That brings the percentage of alumni giving to 7.16. We need a total of 3,718 donors to reach Chancellor DePaolo's 10 percent goal by June 30, and only YOU can help us do that. All men and women who attended or graduated from Wilmington College or the University of North Carolina at Wilmington between 1946 and 2003 are invited to become involved. A gift of $25 or more to UNCW each fiscal year (between July 1-June 30) gives you status as an "active alumnus." Your contribution supports the many programs provided to alumni and students. She has served as the administrative secretary for the Office of Alumni Relations since January 2002 and has been an asset as well to the Alumni Association and University Advancement by using her focus, drive and achievement oriented style to support alumni programs. Kristin served on the Communication Studies Alumni Chapter and has given her untiring support of all areas of the alumni association. Kristin is married to James, who works for Sears, and they have one son, Perry, who attends St. Mary School. Kristin has accepted a position with the Generation Company in Durham as a trainer. Her UNCW degree will be actively used in her exciting role. She plans to become active in the Triangle Alumni Chapter, so this is not a goodbye, just a Seahawk thank you with hopes to see more of you on the road.

ALUMNI HOST EVENTS FOR CHANCELLOR
During the four weeks leading to the chancellor's Installation, Rosemary DePaolo hit the road on a "Procession to Installation." She visited Duplin, Bladen, Craven and Onslow counties to learn more about the education and economic conditions of each area. She was warmly welcomed by key business, civic and education leaders in addition to area alumni. The purpose of these outreach efforts were to provide her a first hand look at the counties that surround UNCW and to explore ways to serve them better. Thank you to everyone who attended and hosted these events. Our thanks go out to Virginia Baysden '72, Ron Choate '72, Mickey Corcoran '70, Hobby Green '77, Bob Joos '79, Murphy-Brown LLC and Sam O'Leary '83 for making these events possible.
