Collegiate Invitational Golf Tournament
The University of North Carolina Wilmington men’s and women’s golf teams and the Country Club of Landfall invite all Seahawk alumni in the Wilmington area to attend the sixth Annual Landfall Tradition and support our teams. The UNCW men’s and women’s golf teams will host this premiere collegiate invitational golf tournament and compete against 22 of the nation’s top golf teams.
The tournament begins on Thursday, Oct. 25, with a collegiate/amateur competition; the collegiate tournament is Oct. 26-28 on the Nicklaus Course of the Country Club of Landfall, 1801 Eastwood Road, Wilmington, North Carolina near Wrightsville Beach. The schedule for each day of the Landfall Tradition along with a list of the 2007 participating teams can be found on the Web site www.landfalltradition.com.
The golf will be exciting, the October weather should be beautiful, and the highly rated Nicklaus course is a great setting for both players and gallery. Admission and parking are free; refreshments will be sold at the Nicklaus snack bar.
Please contact Seahawk alumni living in Southeastern North Carolina or Northeastern South Carolina and urge them to attend, and help ensure a lively cheering section for our teams. For further information on this event or if you have any questions please contact, Pete Dallow at 910/256-9281.
