Examples of How Prerequisites and
Co-requisites Work
Refer to the distribution of courses
for reference below to understand the following examples:
- If you elect to take one course in biology, say BIO 335, you
must also take the lab, BIOL 335.
- If you elect to take BIO 240, you must also take BIO 241 in
order for this to count as your "one" course from Group 1 if you
choose Option A Biology.
- Similarly, if you elect to take one course from social and
behavioral sciences, ANT 326, you must also take the lab course, ANTL 326,
but you need to first take ANT 210 or another 100-200 level BIO course.

- Group 1: Choose at least one course, not
including prerequisites

- Group 2: Choose at least one course, not
including prerequisites
- Social and Behavioral Sciences: ANT 207-ANTL 207,
