LT Bradley Hickey currently serves as an Undersea and Diving Medical Officer at the Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center in Panama City, Florida. Prior to this assignment, he served as the Undersea and Diving Medical Officer for Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Eight. In addition to his primary duties at the Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center, LT Hickey was able to qualify as a Saturation Diving Medical Officer at the U.S. Navy Experimental Diving Unit which is also located in Panama City, Florida.
LT Hickey is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy. Following his commission in the U.S. Navy, LT Hickey entered medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences which is located in Bethesda, Maryland. Following completion of medical school in 2003, he completed a General Surgery Internship at the National Naval Medical Center which is located in Bethesda, Maryland. Upon completion of his General Surgery Internship, LT Hickey completed the U.S. Navy Undersea and Diving Medical Officer Course.
LT Hickey is very excited at the possibility to work with and collaborate with staff and personnel from NOAA, UNCW, NASA, NURC, and various other private organizations.
