Monica Woo is a graduate student in the Botany Department at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Her research interest include the patterns and processes of algal introductions. Her current efforts involve a study of the environmental impacts and interactions of the introduced red alga, Kappaphycus stnatum, in Kaneohe Bay. This is her first mission to NURC as part of the day boat operations.
