Michael Phillips Phillips is a research diver and diving instructor from North Carolina. Formerly an instructor with the University of California Los Angeles Scientific Diving Program, Phillips has extensive experience diving on a wide variety of biological, oceanographic, and archaeological research projects throughout the United States and Caribbean. He is a station manager for the Smithsonian Institution's field lab in Belize. Phillips has assisted Dr. Leichter on a number of projects in the Florida Keys and Bahamas over the past years and currently works as a scuba technician and archaeological diver for Tidewater Atlantic Research in Washington, North Carolina. |
