I have one of the most exciting jobs in the world! Each day I wade through
volumes of biology, chemistry, and physics texts extracting remarkable
topics to motivate future researchers! I have been doing this for about
3 1/2 years, but the most fun part has just begun. To me, teaching high
school science is an ideal way to increase my subject knowledge while
giving me the time and opportunities to pursue other dreams. Now, my dreams
have taken a new twist. I am currently a graduate student working under
Dr. Linda Walters at the University of Central Florida. My thesis work
focuses on the amazing animal, the eastern oyster.
