I have had a running love affair with the sea all my life. Raised in Hawaii, I lived on surfing and diving until joining the Navy at the age of 19. I became a Navy diver in 1976, and had the opportunity to live in Asia, the South pacific, the Mediterranean and both sides of the USA. All my travels inspired a passion for underwater photography, which still continues to keep my diving career so much more than just a "job". I retired after 21 years of Navy service and moved to the Andros Island, Bahamas working for AUTEC as a working diver. I heard about the Aquarius project and knew this was the place for me. I came onboard the Aquarius team on March 3, 2003.
