Doug Irish ENC
Navy Diving Experimental Unit
Panama City, FL

I was not born in Texas, but I got there as quick as I could. I joined the Navy in September of 1990. Throughout my 15 year career, I have experienced working as a ships’ husbandry diver, deep sea underwater salvor, dive school instructor, EOD mixed gas closed circuit supervisor, Marine Corps Recon dive supervisor, and now Navy saturation diver. The funny thing about all this is that they actually pay me to have this much fun!

I am happily married and have five outstanding children. I currently reside in Panama City, Florida, and am stationed at the Navy Experimental Diving Unit. I hope to continue my Navy diving career for another 15 years, but now I need to finish this and go SAT!
