- Dr. Peter Witucki
Dr. Peter Witucki currently holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Diego where he practices both Emergency and Hyperbaric Medicine.
His interest in Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine began after medical school while he was completing an internship year at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. He completed the US Navy’s training program in Undersea Medicine and served on active duty as a Diving Medical Officer both with Naval Special Warfare and Explosive Ordnance Disposal. He then completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of California Davis in Sacramento, CA. This was followed by a Fellowship Program in Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine at UC San Diego where he has stayed on as a faculty physician. Dr. Witucki also continues to serve the US Navy as a Diving Medical Officer in the Navy Reserves.
