HTCS (SCW/DV) John Emborski
Navy Experimental Diving Unit (NEDU)

I was born in January, 1966, in Salamanca, NY. Graduating from Salamanca Central High School in 1984, I entered the Navy in November of that year as a Steelworker in the Seabees. After a tour with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion ONE, in 1987, I attended Second Class Diver Training in Coronado, CA and Basic Underwater Construction School in Port Hueneme, CA with follow–on duty at Underwater Construction Team ONE in Norfolk, VA. I attended First Class Dive School in 1989 and Advanced Underwater Construction School in 1990. Other tours of duty included Naval Civil Engineering Laboratory in Port Hueneme, CA, Instructor Duty at the Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center, Panama City, FL, and two more rewarding sea duty tours at Underwater Construction Team ONE in Virginia. I recently crossed over to the Saturation Diving community and I am presently stationed at the Navy Experimental Diving Unit in Panama City, FL.
