Kimberly Parker

Kimberly (Kimi) Parker is an Engineer with United Space Alliance (USA), a NASA contractor at the Johnson Space Center. She was born April 26, 1979 in Metarie, LA. She lived outside of New Orleans (in Slidell) until she was 13, and then moved to Humble, TX. She is engaged to Richard L. Hardy and is getting married in May. She has 2 birds, Pedro (Nanday conure) and Peetie (parakeet). She enjoys playing water polo, swimming, biking, running, kickboxing, fixing up her house, drawing, and reading.

Kimi graduated from Humble High School in Humble, Texas in 1997 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2002. After getting her degree from A&M, Kimi began working for USA, training the astronauts that go to the International Space Station on all of their daily activities. In 2005, Kimi was assigned to the NEEMO project as an Ops Planner - she timelines their day so that all their activities can be complete.
