Aquarius Interior
Aquanauts at ease in the dining area, with a view of the reef out their "kitchen window." They prepare their own food, from a selection of upscale freeze dried options. Aquanauts also conduct a major shopping expedition before each mission so individual food preferences can be met.
Space is limited, but everyone gets their own bunk. Aquarius sleeps six people. Gold sheets are special non-static and flame-retardant material.
The mainlock dining table is used for a lot more than just eating. Aquanauts transcribe field notes, set up computers, and review underwater video from the table's two bench seats.
During the initial stages of decompression Aquanauts breath pure oxygen to help reduce the nitrogen load in their tissues. During the oxygen cycles the Aquanauts stay in their bunks and they are monitored by support staff.

"Pizza delivery-- anyone home?" Aquanaut technician arrives in wet porch with a pressure pot containing supplies and equipment that needs to stay dry.
