Getting Started:

To begin posting a mission journal, go to the blog home page, found at http://nurc.net/blog/. This will be your starting point for any administration or management, also. [Fig. 1]
Log in by using the form in the top right–hand corner. If you do not have a username or password, click the “register” link below the “Login” button. [Fig. 2]

After navigating to the “Registration Form” page, enter your desired username and a valid e–mail address. This e–mail address will be used to send you a password…so make sure it is correct! Click the “Register” button. [Fig. 3]
If registration is successful, you should see a summary of the info you entered and a “Login” link. Click to login. [Fig. 4]
Check the e–mail account you registered and use the password provided with your username to log in. Once you have logged in successfully, you will be taken to your profile.

Now that you are on the Profile page, input your first and last name as this will be displayed on your post. Next, input your personal website URL or, if you have a bio posted on the Aquarius home page, link to that. You can find the field for "Website:" under the "Contact Info" section [Fig. 5]. Now, click the "Update Profile" button.
It is recommended that you change your password to something you can remember. On the profile page, in the bottom right–hand corner, is the “Update Your Password” form. [Fig 6]
You should still be on the profile page. To insure your name is displayed correctly on your post you need to change the display name. In the "Name" section, change your display name under "Display name publicly as:" to your full name [first name] [last name]. Click the "Update Your Profile" button once again. [Fig. 7]

You will not be able to write or edit an entry, yet. An administrator must confirm your account before granting you Author permissions. Once this process is complete, you will receive a confirmation e-mail giving you details about your permissions.
If you have received your confirmation e–mail with your status changed to “Author”, then you are now able to write an entry! When logged in, you will see a new tab called "Write". Click this tab.
The first thing you will want to do is select the current mission you are writing about from the Missions tab on the right side of the page. If this section is not expanded, click the plus sign to reveal all missions. The missions are in alphabetical order. Select only one for each post.
Make sure the title has the correct information. Replace the “#” with the ~~mission journal number and~~ mission day number.
Write your entry and click Save!
Note: Your entry will not appear on the blog until an administrator has read and approved it.
