Creative Writing Chair to Hold Reading

WILMINGTON, NC -- Poet Mark Cox, chair of the Creative Writing Department at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, will read from his work at 8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 17, in UNCW's Morton Hall, Bryan Auditorium. A reception and book signing will follow this free event.

The author of Thirty-Seven Years from Stone and Smoulder, Cox has won numerous awards including a Pushcart Prize and the Oklahoma Book Award. During the summer, he will serve as poet-in-residence at the Frost Place, Robert Frost's New Hampshire home.
