Wilmington, N.C. - A reception celebrating the 2000 edition of the Atlantis will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, at Barnes and Noble. The Atlantis is UNCW's student art and literature journal of solicited submission from university students. The first copies of the book will be available at the reception and are free of charge to UNCW students, faculty, and staff. Copies will be distributed on campus following the reception. A total of 1200 copies will be available.

During the reception, the following contributing writers will read from their work, which will include prose and poetry: Matt Pruett, Brad Land, Hilary Snow, Susan K. Campbell, Brian Tucker, and Miles C. Daniels. Refreshments will be provided.
