WILMINGTON, NC -- The UNCW Office of International Programs is seeking volunteers to participate in the International Friendship Program. Participants would help international students adjust to their new environment on the UNCW campus and in the Wilmington community.

Approximately 45 students will arrive between Thursday, Aug. 10, and Saturday, Aug. 12. International Friendship participants can arrange to meet students at the airport and provide transportation to the university and will host off-campus experiences such as occasional meals together, sight-seeing trips or other family activities throughout the year. The students will live in on-campus housing and attend UNCW up to one academic year.
