UNCW'S FILM STUDIES PROGRAM LAUNCHES MOVIE MAKERS SERIES

WILMINGTON -- The Film Studies Program at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington is kicking off the first in a series of talks at 4 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 7, in Morton Hall, Bryan Auditorium. These informed talks, called Movie Makers, will be given by local and visiting filmmakers - actors, directors, cinematographers, editors, screenwriters, grips, producers, or extras.Tony Arnaud will be the first guest speaker. An actor, stuntman and technician, Arnaud is best known for his work on The Sopranos, Dead Man Walking, One True Thing and Sabrina, among others. He also worked on the upcoming Spike Lee film Bamboozled due for release this September.
