WILMINGTON, NC -- Dr. David La Vere, associate professor of history at UNC Wilmington, will discuss his book "Contrary Neighbors" at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Barnes and Nobles Booksellers, 322 South College Road. A book signing will follow the talk.

"Contrary Neighbors" examines the relationship between Southeastern Indians who were relocated to Indian territory in the early 19th century. As part of the discussion, La Vere will display part of his Indian artifact collection.
