WILMINGTON -- The NC Poetry Society, in conjunction with the UNCW Creative Writing Department, is sponsoring a poetry workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 24 on the campus of UNCW. Advance registration is required for participation in this workshop.



The session will be led by Sarah Messer, winner of the 2000 New Issues Poetry prize for Bandit Letters. Cost is $15 for NC Poetry Society members, $25 for non-members.



Registration will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Send one or two poems and a check made payable to the NC Poetry Society to L. Adams, 1413 Buckingham Ave., Wilmington, NC 28401. Deadline is Feb. 5. For more information, call 910/962-3436.
