UNCW FILM STUDIES PROGRAM TO HOST SCREENING OF CUCALORUS FILM FESTIVAL ENTRIES

WILMINGTON, NC – The Film Studies Program at UNC Wilmington will host the first night of the seventh annual Cucalorus Film Festival at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, in Morton Hall, Bryan Auditorium, as part of its Local Focus series.

Local Focus, an annual gathering for area producers, directors and other media artists to screen and discuss their works, will feature eight films that range in length from three to 30 minutes. The films scheduled are Murder in my Shorts, Fore!, Falling Through the Cracks, All Eyes to the Sky, Popcorn, Two Strangers, Wild Safari Jackass and Aquious.

The Cucalorus Film Festival is designed to showcase independent film and video screenings. It will be held March 21-25 with screenings at various venues.
