U.S./IRAQ RELATIONS FOCUS OF UNCW LECTURE

WILMINGTON, NC -- Milton Iossi, a retired U.S. foreign service officer, will lecture on current relations between the United States and Iraq at 7 p.m., Monday, March 19, in King Hall Auditorium.

Iossi (pronounced yo’-see) worked for more than 30 years in U.S. government service. He served in Europe, North Africa, South Asia and the Far East. A native of Sioux Falls, S.D., Iossi majored in international relations and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota in 1958. A resident of Shallotte, Iossi is a member of the Brunswick County Literacy Council. He received the 1998 N.C. Governor’s Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service.
