WILMINGTON, NC – The Environmental Concerns Organization (ECO), a student group at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, will hold an Earth Day Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, at the university’s Campus Commons.

Earth Day Fair is an opportunity for the university and greater Wilmington community to learn how everyone can work to improve the environment, said Nicole Marschhauser, club representative. The fair will feature displays and informational booths from various environmental friendly organizations including the Sierra Club, Keep America Beautiful, the Surfrider Foundation and Fort Fisher Aquarium. Stevenson Honda is also sponsoring a display of a gas/electric hybrid automobile.

In addition to the displays, there will be live music. In the event of rain, the fair will be held Thursday, April 19.
