EXHIBIT BY WILMINGTON ARTIST NATALIE SCHORR TO OPEN IN UNCW’S WARWICK CENTER

WILMINGTON, NC – The UNCW Arts in Action Series is hosting an exhibit by Wilmington artist Natalie Schorr as its inaugural display of the fall semester.

“Natalie Schorr: American Pictures” will be displayed Friday, Aug. 10, through Tuesday, Oct. 9, in UNC Wilmington’s Warwick Center Lobby. A Meet-the-Artist reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 28, at the display.

Schorr, who has lived in the Wilmington area since 1992, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from UNC Greensboro and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University. For more than 10 years, Schorr worked as an art director and set designer for motion pictures and television. Her exhibit includes “realist works of art on a variety of themes executed in graphite and charcoal.”
