ANNUAL UNCW SCREENING OF IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE SET FOR DECEMBER 7 IN WARWICK CENTER BALLROOM

WILMINGTON, NC -- In what has become a Wilmington holiday tradition, the University of North Carolina at Wilmington will host its annual screening of Frank Capra’s It’s a Wonderful Life at 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 7, in the Warwick Center Ballroom. The Capra family’s 35mm print will be used for the screening.Following the film, there will be a panel discussion featuring Frank Capra Jr., his filmmaker son Jonathan and film studies professor Dr. Sue Richardson. A wine and cheese reception concludes the evening.
This event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the UNCW Film Studies Program, the Association for Campus Entertainment and the Office of the Chancellor in conjunction with EUE Screen Gems Studios, Joe Dunton Camera, the Italian Heritage Society and Barnes & Nobles Booksellers.
