UNCW Panel to Discuss the Connection Between Primates and Humans

By Kristin Summerford, PR InternWILMINGTON, NC - A panel discussion on “The Primate-Human Connection: Science, Society, Politics” will be held at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, in UNC Wilmington’s Randall Library Auditorium.
The discussion will feature the following UNCW faculty members: Dr. Midori Albert, assistant professor of anthropology; Dr. Diana Ashe, assistant professor of English; Dr. Katherine Bruce, professor of psychology; Dr. Donald Bushman, associate professor of English; Dr. William McCarthy, associate professor of history; Dr. Diane Melroy, a lecturer in biological sciences; Dr. Patricia Turrisi, associate professor of philosophy; and Dr. David Webster, professor of biological sciences. Panelists are going to examine the link between animal and human behavior.
The UNCW Science, Humanities and Society Minor, College of Arts and Sciences, Center for Teaching Excellence and the Honor Scholars Program are sponsoring this free, public discussion. Light refreshments will be served.
