WILMINGTON, NC – Up-and-coming director Patrick Stettner will discuss his career as an independent filmmaker at 2 p.m., Friday, April 19, in UNCW’s Morton Hall, Bryan Auditorium. The university’s Film Studies Program is sponsoring this free, public lecture as part of its Moviemakers Lecture Series.

Stettner wrote and directed The Business of Strangers, which received favorable reviews at the Sundance Film Festival. Starring Stockard Channing and Julia Stiles, the movie is being shown as part of Thalian Hall’s Cinematique Series April 8-10.
