Wilmington – The executive committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington today approved a five-year contract with a $160,000 annual base salary for new men’s basketball head coach Brad Brownell. The contract is the same as that of former coach Jerry Wainwright except for the base salary and duration.

The executive committee met in person and via conference call at 11 a.m., Monday, April 29, in the chancellor’s conference room.
