Wilmington, NC – The UNCW Environmental Concerns Organization (ECO) will hold an Earth Day celebration at noon, Saturday, April 27, at Crystal Pier (The Oceanic).

The celebration called Honna Lao (Surf Day) is free and open to the public and will include competitive water events. There will be events in the water, such as, a paddle race, best costume while surfing and virgin surfers. Other events on the beach include hula hoop and limbo competitions. There will be an expression session to talk about the importance of Earth Day and the environment.
