Wilmington, NC – The University of North Carolina at Wilmington Concert Band will perform at 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 25, in UNCW Kenan Auditorium.

The musical selections will include Gustav Holsts’ “Suite No. 1,” Alan Hovhaness’s “Tower Music,” Leonard Bernstein’s “Overture to Candide,” Richard Wagner’s “Elsa’s Procession to the Cathedral,” and J.S. Bach’s “Fugue in G minor.”

The UNCW Concert Band is directed by Christofer Ackerman, a visiting assistant professor of music.

General admission is $5; $2.50 for UNCW faculty and staff, senior citizens, and children under twelve; and free to UNCW students with a valid ID. For more information, contact the Department of Music at 910/962-3390.
