Just a reminder about UNCW’s fall commencement set for 9:45 a.m.,

Friday, Dec. 20 at Trask Coliseum. 955 undergraduates and 150 graduates

will receive their degrees. Leslie Erin Grimes of Smithfield will receive the

summer 2002 UNCW Alumni Award for the highest GPA for a student

who attended UNCW exclusively through the entire college career. She

graduated in July, 2002, with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology.

Please be reminded that UNCW-TV will broadcast the entire

commencement ceremonies live from 9:45 – noon over the Learning

Network, on TimeWarner Cable Channel 5 and Charter Cable Channel 12.

The last day of exams is Thursday, Dec. 19. UNCW will be closed for the

holidays starting Monday, Dec. 23 and re-opening for business on

Thursday, Jan. 2. Spring semester classes start Wednesday, Jan. 8.
